Our loud opinions about the wines we've tasted...
The Mama Aggregate Score (MAS)- our collective points associated with a particular wine sampled during a particular tasting. MAS = mas = more in espanol (that is Spanish for the gringos out there). Note to self: the higher the MAS score, the mas you should buy. Detailed notes are offered up by the mamas in each particular section, or by the winery in each product description. Below, we simply aggregate the scores and highlight one of the more compelling quotes on a particular wine.
DEFINITION:
We fabulous ladies operate on a 5 point scale. I know, call us "different" but really, who cares. We like it that way. So think of it this way, if you are sizing up some eye candy walking by you on the street, getting graded on that chemistry exam, or anything else that seems somewhat relevant...
5 = Hot. You turned your head because you couldn't help yourself. Delicious perfection. An "A" in the world of grades.
4 = Good looking. Easy on the eyes. Tasty. Well above the bell curve. B+
3 = Cute. Solid. Pleasant tasting, but doesn't really stand out. B or B-
2 = Plain, but you have nothing bad to say. Take it or leave it. This would fall into the "C" camp.
1 = Not good. Not good at all. In the realm of Robert Parker, this would be anything under 75 points. Oh, wait, he doesn't review things that low...
